About Me

Piano has been an huge part of my life ever since I opened my brothers’ piano books when I was seven and started playing “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”. As I learned more and as the world brought numerous sources of stress upon me, I sat at my piano bench and passionately played. As I played, my stress faded away, and a peace uncreated by this world covered me. This was the place where I could think and be still.

During my senior year in high school, I had the idea to record my piano compositions on a CD. As the recording progressed, I experienced a change in perspective on this project. Rather than making a CD in order to try to impress people, I wanted to make a CD that would benefit others. I realized that my value as a person was not in my ability to play the piano or any other accomplishments I could possibly achieve. Rather, I realized that my value came from the fact that I had been created by God and had been redeemed and made right by Him through Christ. I now wanted this music to be an opportunity for my listeners to experience this genuine peace that comes from such a God. So with this mindset, I created “Be Still”

After venturing off to college, I continued to compose songs during my free time. One of the biggest thoughts during that time was on heaven and that we are not yet home, so I composed and created my second CD called “Coming Home”.

Recently while on a silent retreat, the word “Beloved” was transformed in my mind. Rather than a word I merely skimmed over when read, it opened my eyes to the fact that the Maker of the Stars desires us to be His children, Abba’s Children. I wanted others to experience what I experienced, so I composed music along with a letter coming from God to us and titled it “To My Beloved”.
